This Privacy Policy explains how Kiinos Personal Care Private Limited ("Kiinos", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use our WhatsApp-based assistant service (the "Service"), including via WhatsApp messaging, connected Google account features, and email.
1. Information We Collect
When you use the Service, we collect:
- WhatsApp contact information — your phone number and the display name associated with your WhatsApp account.
- Message content — the text of messages you send us to create, update, or complete tasks, set reminders, or log expenses.
- Task and activity data — tasks and reminders you create, including, where you assign a task to someone else, that person's name and the fact that a task was assigned to them.
- Expense and accounting data — amounts, vendor or party names, and, where you choose to provide them, identifiers such as GSTIN or PAN, used to maintain your expense or invoice records.
- Connected Google account data (optional) — if you choose to connect Google Calendar or Gmail, we store the access credentials needed to provide reminders and digest features, and access the calendar/email data required for that specific feature.
- Email data (optional) — if you contact or interact with us by email, we process the sender address, subject, and body of that message.
2. How We Use Information
We use the information above to:
- Operate core features of the Service — creating and tracking tasks, reminders, expenses, and task delegation between users;
- Understand and route the requests you send us over WhatsApp;
- Send you reminders and periodic digests of your open tasks;
- Maintain and improve the accuracy and reliability of the Service.
3. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with third parties for their own advertising purposes. We share information only with service providers who help us operate the Service:
- Meta Platforms, Inc. — messages you send and receive through the Service are transmitted using the WhatsApp Business Platform, and are subject to WhatsApp's own terms and privacy policy.
- Google (Google Cloud Platform, including Vertex AI / Gemini) — we use Google Cloud infrastructure to host our systems and database, and send message text to Google's Gemini models to interpret your requests.
- Google Calendar / Gmail APIs — only if you choose to connect these, and only to provide the specific feature you enabled.
4. Information About Other People
If you use the Service to assign a task to a colleague, family member, or other contact, we will share limited information (such as your name and the task details) with that person over WhatsApp so they can be notified, and process the minimum contact information needed to do so.
5. Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service. If an account is deactivated, historical task, reminder, and expense records may be retained for continuity, accounting, and record-keeping purposes, unless you request deletion as described below.
6. Your Choices and Rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us at contact@kiinos.in. We will act on verified requests within a reasonable time, subject to any accounting or legal record-keeping obligations that require us to retain certain records for a statutory period.
7. International Data Transfers
Our infrastructure runs on Google Cloud Platform, which may process and store data on servers located outside India. By using the Service, you consent to this transfer and processing.
8. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed to, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from, individuals under the age of 18.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
